US B2B Collections Manager

About the role

Teleperformance is seeking a B2B Collections Manager to join our dynamic team at TP Aura in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time, on-site position that plays a crucial role in our financial operations. As Collections Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the collection of outstanding payments from business clients, ensuring optimal cash flow and maintaining strong client relationships. This position is strategically important to our organization, directly impacting revenue realization and the financial health of Teleperformance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a portfolio of business-to-business accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices and payments
• Develop and implement collection strategies to minimize overdue payments and improve collection rates
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding payment terms, invoice discrepancies and collection issues
• Monitor ageing receivables reports and identify trends, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
• Prepare and present detailed collection reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and recommendations
• Coordinate with internal departments including accounting, sales and operations to resolve payment-related issues
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, transactions and client communications
• Handle escalations and manage challenging collection situations with professionalism and discretion
• Ensure compliance with company policies, credit policies and relevant regulations throughout the collections process

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit control or collections management within a B2B environment
• Proven track record of successfully managing collection portfolios and improving collection rates
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, credit policies and collection procedures
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with business clients
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to lead and coordinate effectively
• Professional maturity and integrity when handling sensitive financial matters
• Preferably, experience working with multinational organizations or outsourcing environments
