The Qualifications We Seek
- CPA is required
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experiencesupportingUS companies or US-based operations
- Strong expertise in US GAAP, revenue recognition, and full-cycle accounting operations
- Proven experience in general ledger management, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Experience leading or mentoring accounting team members
- Background in startup, SaaS, technology, or high-growth environments is an advantage
- Big 4 public accounting experience is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Willing to work aligned with US business hours
- Reliable high-speed internet with backup connection
Your Daily Tasks
- Report directly to senior finance leadership and oversee end-to-end general accounting functions
- Support Accounts Payable activities, including vendor bills, payments, credit cards, and reimbursements
- Manage invoicing, Accounts Receivable, and revenue recognition processes
- Lead month-end close tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
- Supervise and guide a senior accountant
- Assist in audit preparation and compliance requirements
- Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and policy updates
- Partner with stakeholders on ad hoc reports and finance-related projects
