This is not a traditional senior accountant position. You will lead accounting operations, guide workflows, and act as the primary finance point of contact for US clients.
The Opportunity
We are hiring an Lead Accountant to oversee end-to-end accounting and close operations for US-based SaaS and Fintech clients. You will partner directly with US Controllers, CFOs, and finance leadership to ensure accuracy, scalability, and timely delivery of financial results.
What You Will Own
- Oversee full month-end close operations for US Fintech clients
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Ensure general ledger accuracy and compliance with US GAAP
- Support revenue recognition and subscription accounting workflows
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
- Identify process gaps and implement structured accounting improvements
- Collaborate directly with US Controllers and finance stakeholders
- Support audit readiness and external auditor coordination
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP background
- Experience in Fintech, or high-volume transaction environments preferred
- Proven ability to lead or coordinate accounting close workflows
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 a plus)
- ERP experience (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar)
- Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate across US time zone overlap
