URGENT: Design Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D plans, 3D models, photorealistic renderings, and construction-ready drawing sets for residential outdoor living projects (decks, covered structures, patios, pools, outdoor kitchens, sunrooms) using field measurements, photos, drone imagery, and client notes
• Verify structural feasibility, constructability, dimensional accuracy, and local code compliance across all exterior design packages
• Perform strict self-QA reviews on all design deliverables, site plans, framing plans, elevations, and cross-sections prior to client or field submission
• Coordinate directly with U.S.-based sales, estimating, project management, and construction teams to process design revisions quickly and resolve site constraints
• Maintain organized project files, design documentation, revision tracking logs, and asset libraries within cloud storage systems
• Help build and refine internal design standards, drawing templates, CAD blocks, and operating workflows to optimize department output
• Assist in reviewing design packages produced by junior designers, offering technical feedback to maintain delivery schedules and design quality control as the team scales

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential architectural drafting, exterior design, hardscaping, or pool design
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD alongside 3D modeling and rendering platforms (SketchUp, Chief Architect, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, or VIP3D)
• Solid understanding of U.S. residential construction methods, framing standards, material specs, site topography, and exterior detailing
• Ability to interpret site photos, raw field measurements, hand sketches, and structural scopes to produce accurate permit/construction sets
• Strong self-management skills with the ability to handle multiple active design projects, accept direct feedback, and execute rapid revisions independently
