WE ARE HIRING: Urban Research Associate

WTA Labs: Center for Urban Research is looking for an Urban Research Associate specializing in GIS (Geospatial Analysis), Geography, and Urban Studies to join our multidisciplinary team!

What you will do:

Design and lead research projects to address pressing issues in Filipino cities, contributing insights grounded in geographic thought and geospatial analysis.
Explore and execute geospatial, data, and AI-related methodologies to provide evidence-based studies and policies.
Write and communicate findings through research papers, policy briefs, essays, and multimedia content.
Collaborate with a team of architects and research associates on special architecture and urban studies projects.
Develop linkages with universities and similar research-oriented institutions for meaningful partnerships.
Contribute to the overall operations of our multidisciplinary team.

What we are looking for:

Bachelor's degree (preferably in Geography, Urban Studies, and other disciplines focused on urban contexts).
Strong background in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Geospatial Tools.
Solid background in research, especially within Filipino urban contexts.
Ability to work independently with excellent self-management skills.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Excellent research planning and execution skills.
