Role Overview:
The Unsecured Risk Collections and Bureau Head is responsible for forecasting credit losses and recoveries to effectively manage the Cost of Credit. This role involves leading and developing a team, collaborating across departments, and implementing strategies to reduce risk and improve portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast credit losses and recoveries to manage Cost of Credit.
- Develop and execute strategies to reduce risk exposure in unsecured portfolios.
- Lead and manage two teams (3 direct reports and 1 indirect report).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize collections and bureau processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in risk management and collections.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in credit risk management.
- Currently at AVP level for at least 3 years and ready to transition to VP.
- Proven talent management experience, with ability to develop and retain staff.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with delinquency forecasting and bureau management.
