Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate insurance applications
- Apply risk based on financial and supporting documents
- Apply underwriting guidelines and company policies
- Set coverage limits, terms and pricing (as applicable)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- Communicate with agents, clients and internal teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business and Accounting or related field
- Basic knowledge of underwriting principle and risk assessment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
- Relevant training, experience or underwriting certification (preferred)
