This position shall be responsible for evaluating insurance applications, assessing risk, and issuing policies in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory standards. The role involves close coordination with clients, agents, brokers, and internal teams to ensure accurate underwriting decisions, effective risk management, and high-quality service delivery across assigned insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate insurance risks in line with underwriting guidelines and corporate policies
- Prepare, issue, renew, and amend insurance policies and endorsements
- Review applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate underwriting decisions, policy terms, and coverage details to clients and agents
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards
- Maintain accurate underwriting records, reports, and documentation
- Support risk mitigation initiatives and provide underwriting input for claims management
- Assist in internal audits, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
