With a focus on KYC verification, the Underwriting Specialists will review epay applications for new customers and existing customers of our software. You will ensure that all information is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Complete due diligence reviews, document processing (financial, identification, & business), and KYC analysis for applications
- Record findings of each application within our systems
- Analyzing data such as rent-roll, transaction processing, and customer history to set and update processing limits
- Making decisions based on department standards
- Communicate professionally and clearly with our customers
- Support frontline representatives by responding to questions and concerns
- Keeping up to date on all policy and procedure updates and applying those changes to your reviews
- Participate in ongoing Underwriting Training
- Assist management in analyzing underwriting workflow, procedures and standards, identifying concerns, and making recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the department
Qualifications
- Graduate of any four-year course highly preferred
- With at least 2 years experience in underwriting and/or risk management experience preferred
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail - Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
- Effective Verbal & Written Communications Able to effectively communicate accurately and concisely with peers and senior management.
- Time Management Understanding business priorities to effectively and efficiently deliver expected results and meet established SLA's
- Multitasking Ability to manage multiple objectives, projects, or activities, making effective use of time and resources to prioritize all deliverables.
- Office Support Tools Ability to use office support tools available (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SalesForce, etc.)
- Solid analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work with little supervision once training is completed
- Strong decision maker; exhibits sound and accurate judgment
- Ability to recognize and escalate situations as deemed necessary
- Highly motivated, self-driven and results-oriented
- Must be willing to work in a fixed Night Shift schedule to match US hours
- Must be willing to work on site within group Hybrid work arrangements (flexible after 90 days in office).
