You own the operational spine of the policy lifecycle for a U.S.-based specialty commercial insurance operation — setting up new submissions, issuing policy transactions, running QA reviews before bind, and handling post-bind servicing requests. Your work follows established procedure manuals, underwriting workflows, and compliance rules aligned with broker and client service level agreements.

This is not a rating role. You operate across the full policy lifecycle from submission intake through post-bind servicing, interpret underwriter instructions, and are trusted to handle high transaction volumes with accuracy. Best suited for professionals who thrive in process-driven environments, value precision over speed alone, and prefer clear workflows over ambiguity.

You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

• 2+ years of insurance industry experience in policy operations, underwriting assistance, policy issuance, or a comparable transactional role
• Working knowledge of commercial lines policy transactions — endorsements, new business, renewals, cancellations, and loss runs
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedure manuals and apply compliance rules to recurring transaction types
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Willingness to work a permanent night shift (11:00 PM–8:00 AM PH Time) aligned with U.S. business hours from a stable home-office setup

Strong Signals

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
• Commercial insurance operations experience — Inland Marine or specialty lines especially valued
• Prior experience with policy administration systems, clearance checks, or submission intake
• Experience coordinating with brokers and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs)
• Comfort using AI tools to accelerate data verification, document review, and QA checks

What You'll Own

Submission Intake & Policy Setup

You own the front-end of every new policy — clean data, correct clearance, right underwriter.

• Set up new business submissions in the policy administration system
• Run clearance checks against submission requirements
• Perform accurate data entry and route submissions to the appropriate underwriter
• Verify submission completeness before hand-off

Policy Issuance & Transaction Processing

You issue every transaction to standard — with a QA review against the approved quote prior to bind.

• Issue all commercial lines policy transactions following established procedure manuals
• QA every issuance against the approved quote before bind
• Process endorsements, new business, renewals, and cancellations against compliance rules
• Verify policy data accuracy and resolve discrepancies before hand-off

Post-Bind Servicing & Documentation

You keep the policy healthy after bind through loss runs, servicing requests, and clean records.

• Process servicing requests including loss runs
• Coordinate with brokers, insureds, and TPAs using approved templates
• Adhere to service level agreements on every servicing request
• Maintain accurate policy records and supporting documentation

Underwriting Support & Cross-Department Coordination

You keep the underwriting team supplied and the internal handoffs clean.

• Interpret written and verbal instructions from underwriters and execute against them
• Build working knowledge of underwriting systems, workflows, lines of business, and coverages
• Monitor and manage underwriting documentation and reports
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow across the underwriting lifecycle
