You own the operational backbone of a U.S.-based specialty insurance underwriting team — managing the full policy lifecycle from submission intake through issuance and post-bind servicing, ensuring every transaction is processed accurately and on time. Your work follows established procedure manuals, system workflows, and service level agreements aligned to client-side underwriting standards.

This is not a generalist admin role. You operate within clearly defined scopes: setting up new business in the policy administration system, issuing commercial line transactions, processing endorsements, renewals, and cancellations, and coordinating with brokers and third-party administrators using approved templates. Best suited for professionals who take ownership of accuracy, thrive in structured environments, and are comfortable working independently against defined outputs and deadlines.

You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have

• 2+ years of experience in insurance operations, underwriting support, or commercial lines processing
• Hands-on exposure to policy transactions — new business setup, endorsements, renewals, or cancellations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and comfort navigating policy administration systems
• Experience coordinating with brokers or third-party administrators in a structured, documentation-heavy environment
• Willingness to work a fixed night shift (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM PHT) aligned with U.S. business hours and comply with onsite onboarding requirements

Strong Signals

• Background in Inland Marine, specialty lines, or surplus lines insurance
• Familiarity with U.S. commercial insurance compliance rules and coverage structures
• Experience in a BPO or offshore delivery environment supporting a U.S. client

Responsibility Pillars

Policy Transactions & Issuance. You own the accurate and timely issuance of all commercial line policy transactions, applying QA review against the approved quote before every bind.

• Set up new business submissions including clearance checks and data entry
• Issue endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and new business per procedure manuals
• Verify policy data accuracy and resolve discrepancies before processing

Broker & TPA Coordination. You are the operational link between the underwriting team, brokers, and third-party administrators — ensuring information flows cleanly and nothing falls through.

• Process servicing requests including loss runs using approved templates
• Communicate with brokers and TPAs to gather required documentation
• Respond to requests within defined service level agreement windows

Underwriting Systems & Compliance. You maintain working knowledge of underwriting platforms, compliance rules, and coverage lines to execute transactions without constant escalation.

• Navigate policy administration systems with accuracy and consistency
• Interpret written and verbal instructions from underwriters and apply them correctly
• Monitor underwriting documentation and flag discrepancies proactively

Cross-Functional Workflow Support. You collaborate with internal departments to keep the underwriting pipeline moving without bottlenecks.

• Coordinate with other teams to resolve workflow gaps
• Communicate decision rationale clearly to internal and external partners
• Manage workload independently to meet underwriting goals and service standards
