Underwriting Assistant

GENERAL SUMMARY

This is a position to provide underwriting support for Property, Construction and Energy insurance classes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data entry of policy information into underwriting systems and related administrative work.
• Timely and accurate handling of underwriting support work assigned.
• Ensure adherence to records management standards.
• Actively follow-up Aged Debtors/outstanding premium collections.

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Specifications:

• Insurance related experience is an advantage.
• Able to work independently.
• Good team player with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Competent in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in English speaking and writing.

Education:

• Tertiary education

Experience:

• 2-3 years related working experience in Property, Construction and Energy underwriting support are preferred.
