Your Role
As an Underwriter, you will support our indirect auto lending operations by reviewing, structuring, and approving or declining loan applications in accordance with underwriting and credit guidelines.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Reviewing and underwriting indirect auto loan applications
- Structuring loan terms and making approve/decline decisions
- Coordinating with dealerships throughout the underwriting process
- Sending income verification links to applicants
- Reviewing income verification results to ensure compliance
- Generating e-contract packets within the system
- Sending completed e-contract packets to dealerships promptly
- Maintaining accuracy, consistency, and compliance with underwriting standards
- Applying internal systems training and underwriting guidelines effectively
What You Need
Non-Negotiables
- Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience in underwriting indirect auto loans is preferred
