Job Description

The applicant for this position ultrasound technologist, or diagnostic medical sonographer must be PRC holder, with experience in the same field at least 1 years. Can work onsite in Makati and can start immediately. His or Her job is to operates ultrasound equipment to create images of a patient's internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Key duties include preparing patients and exam rooms, operating the ultrasound transducer, capturing high-quality diagnostic images, analyzing these images for abnormalities, documenting findings, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to aid in diagnoses and monitor conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care: Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and ensure their comfort during the exam.

Equipment Operation: Properly position patients and operate the ultrasound machine and transducer to obtain diagnostic images.

Image Analysis: Review and assess the quality of the images, ensuring adequate coverage of the area being examined.

Documentation & Reporting: Accurately record patient information and the findings from the ultrasound procedure, documenting abnormalities.

Collaboration: Present and discuss images and findings with physicians and other healthcare team members to support diagnoses and patient care.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment to ensure proper functioning and a sterile imaging environment.

Emergency Response: Work quickly and adapt to the fast-paced environment of a healthcare setting, especially in emergencies.

Essential Skills & Abilities

Technical Skill: Proficiently operate ultrasound equipment and adapt procedures to capture optimal images.

Analytical Skills: Analyze sonographic information, patient history, and medical records to differentiate between normal and abnormal findings.

Communication: Clearly explain procedures and results to patients and effectively communicate with the healthcare team.

Attention to Detail: Ensure image quality and accurately document all findings for diagnostic purposes.

Problem-Solving: Make independent judgments during exams and promptly solve complex problems as they arise.

Adaptability: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patient cases simultaneously.
