UiPath Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced UiPath Automation Engineer to design, develop and deploy reliable, scalable automation solutions across business areas such as Insurance, Roadside Assistance and Membership Services. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will identify high-value opportunities, apply sound engineering practices and deliver automations that improve efficiency, accuracy and customer outcomes.

• Design, develop, test and deploy automation workflows using UiPath Studio and Orchestrator.
• Assess business processes, including claims intake, policy administration and member enquiries, to identify and prioritise high-value automation opportunities.
• Produce solution designs and effort estimates, and maintain process and solution documentation, including PDDs and SDDs.
• Configure and manage UiPath Orchestrator queues, assets, schedules, robots and triggers in line with IT governance, security and privacy standards.
• Build resilient automations using REFramework, structured exception handling, logging, reusable components and appropriate testing.
• Use source control, code reviews and CI/CD practices to support consistent, controlled releases.
• Monitor production automations, investigate incidents and coordinate timely resolution in accordance with agreed support arrangements.

• 3–5 years of hands-on UiPath development experience across Studio, Orchestrator and robots, with strong REFramework knowledge.
• Proficiency in VB.NET or C# for custom scripting and extensions within UiPath.
• Experience integrating automations with APIs, SQL databases and enterprise CRM applications.
• Practical experience with source control, testing, code review and controlled release practices.
• Understanding of data privacy, security and operational risk when automating personal or financial information.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• A relevant current UiPath professional certification.
• Experience automating processes in insurance, claims, financial services or membership-based organisations.
• Experience with UiPath Document Understanding for processing documents and correspondence.
• Exposure to Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines for automation deployment.

• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
