Role Summary
We are seeking a performance-driven Video Editor to support our paid social advertising and digital growth efforts. This is a fast-paced, execution-focused role centered on direct-response marketing, creative iteration, and measurable results.
You will transform raw footage, scripts, UGC, and existing assets into
high-converting video ads across Meta, TikTok, and other digital platforms. Success in this role requires strong editing fundamentals, graphic design expertise, speed of execution, and the ability to optimize creative based on performance data.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into high-converting paid social video ads (Meta, TikTok)
Build ads from scripts, hooks, storyboards, and existing assets to support rapid testing
Produce multiple performance variations (hooks, pacing, captions, CTAs)
Edit UGC, testimonials, explainers, and product demos for clarity and engagement
Optimize pacing and retention for strong thumb-stop performance
Design supporting static assets (ad graphics, banners) in line with brand guidelines
Use Premiere Pro as the primary editing tool; leverage After Effects and Photoshop/Illustrator as needed
Leverage AI creative tools (AI video, voice, image, and asset generation) to improve speed, efficiency, and output quality
Manage multiple ad edits and iterations simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Apply performance insights (CTR, hold rate, conversion data) to improve future iterations
Collaborate with marketing and growth teams while executing fast turnarounds across multiple projects
Ensure all assets meet platform policies, brand standards, and internal compliance requirements
Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on professional video editing experience
Proven experience editing paid social ads for platforms such as Meta and TikTok
Strong portfolio showcasing short-form, performance-driven ad creatives
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and iterate quickly
Solid understanding of pacing, audio editing, captioning, and color correction
Strong foundation in graphic design principles including layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy
Comfort using AI tools within the creative workflow
Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Open to direct feedback and fast turnaround expectations
Preferred Skills
Experience editing direct-response paid social ads for D2C, e-commerce, or performance marketing teams
Strong understanding of platform best practices for Meta and TikTok (hooks, pacing, formats, trends)
Ability to produce high-quality edits quickly with minimal direction
Familiarity with creative testing workflows and using performance feedback to iterate
