We're hiring a performance-driven UGC Video Editor who understands one thing clearly: ads are meant to convert—not just look good.
This is not a general video editing role.
You'll be focused on creating high-performing, test-ready paid social creatives for fast-scaling DTC and e-commerce brands.
What You'll DoYou'll take existing footage, raw UGC, and creative briefs and turn them into scroll-stopping ads built for performance testing and conversion.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Editing hook-first short-form video ads (Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Improving pacing, retention, and clarity
- Producing multiple variations of winning creatives
- Adapting content across different formats and placements
- Supporting a consistent pipeline of fresh, testable ads
- Applying direct-response principles to every edit
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who understands performance creative—not just editing.
Must-have:
- 5+ years of video editing experience (DTC, e-commerce, or direct-response ads)
- Strong experience editing UGC-style paid social ads
- Deep understanding of:
- Hooks (first 3 seconds win or lose)
- Retention & pacing
- Conversion-focused storytelling
- Proven track record of creating high-performing ad variations
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- CapCut
- DaVinci Resolve
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with AI-assisted editing workflows
- Familiarity with performance metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS)
