Job Description

Otherside is a performance-driven creative and media agency. We build high-converting creative systems for fast-scaling SaaS, fintech, and DTC brands, including several that have reached unicorn status.

We shoot with creators constantly, across AU, Canada, the US and beyond and we're scaling fast.

We're hiring a Talent Manager to own our creator pipeline end-to-end. UGC creators and partnership/whitelisting talent, because it's outgrown what one person can hold in their head. You're the person who finds the right creator for the brief, gets them locked and briefed, keeps them delivering on deadline, and builds the talent database the whole agency runs on.

What's in it for you

Real ownership:

This is your function. Sourcing, negotiation, relationships, the database.

Build the asset:

Own and grow our talent pool, who's reliable, who's worth rebooking, who fits which brand. The thing production and performance both depend on.

Global creator network:

Work with talent across AU, Canada, the US and more.

UGC creators and partnership/whitelisting deals.

Direct line to the founders and creative team:

No layers. You'll shape how we source and manage talent.

Variety every week: Different brands, different briefs, different creators. Never the same day twice.

Room to grow:

As we scale creator volume, this function, and your remit, grows with it.

What you'll do:

Source UGC and partnership creators against each client brief, build shortlists with real options, matched to the brand, not a bulk net.

Negotiate rates and lock contracts, flagging edge cases early

(multi-video briefs, product send-outs, tight timelines)

Run talent from brief to delivery:

Clear briefs, call times, follow-ups, and delivery on deadline.

Own the talent database, rates, reliability, contact history, who gets rebooked so nothing lives in one person's head

Manage partnership/whitelisting talent and the admin that comes with it

(usage terms, handles, send-outs)

Keep a proactive log on every active creator, and chase, across email, DM, call, before a deadline slips, not after

Bank vetted talent by region so we're ready when we scale into a new market

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience managing UGC creators or influencer/partnership talent, sourcing, negotiating, coordinating to delivery

• Immaculate written English, warm, clear, structured. You'll be the voice creators hear, and it has to be flawless

• Ferociously organised, you keep a dated record of every touchpoint and never lose the thread on a dozen creators at once

• You understand how to talk to talent, how to give clarity that stops people backing out, and how to chase without burning the relationship

• Confidence negotiating rates and holding a budget line

• Comfortable across email, DMs and calls, working across time zones

Strong preference for:

• An existing creator network you can tap

• Experience with whitelisting/partnership ads (Meta) · multi-market sourcing (AU/CA/US)

Bonus: you've built or owned a talent database from scratch

The type of person who thrives here:

• You're the one who never drops a thread.

• You get a quiet satisfaction from a clean, current database and a creator who delivers on time because you set them up to.

• Warm with people, ruthless with follow-through.

• You are good at managing projects end to end.

To apply YOU MUST send a Loom video introducing yourself, and explaining:

1 - Why you would be perfect for this role. Talk to us like you would to a friend

2 - Walk us through this: scripts aren't approved yet, the shoot is in 4 days, your preferred talent is only free on day 3, and your budget is $500 but the talent wants $650. What do you do in the next 24 hours

3 - In a seperate Loom video: Walk us through this: a creator was sent product, promised content in 4 days, and has now gone silent for a week with the client expecting delivery. What exactly do you do, and when

We read every application. Generic cover letters don't get replies. You must start your application saying FRENCH BULLDOG
