Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced U.S. Tax Senior / Manager to support complex U.S. tax engagements and work directly with U.S.-based clients and leadership teams.

This role is ideal for candidates with extensive public accounting experience handling U.S. federal and state tax returns across various entity types. The position combines technical review responsibilities with hands-on tax preparation work, with approximately 80% review and 20% preparation responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively during U.S. Eastern Time Zone business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex U.S. federal and state tax returns, including:
• 1040
• 1041
• 1120S
• 1065
• Review all tax returns for technical accuracy before partner's sign-off
• Handle a combination of tax review and preparation responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership and U.S.-based stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations and filing requirements
• Support process improvements and quality assurance initiatives
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding tax matters

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of recent U.S. tax experience within public accounting
• Strong expertise in:
• Partnerships
• S Corporations
• Trusts
• High-net-worth individual taxation
• CPA (Philippines) required; EA designation preferred
• Hands-on experience with:
• UltraTax
• Canopy
• QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Thomson Reuters Professional Suite
• Strong technical review and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and client management abilities
• Ability to work consistently within U.S. Eastern Time Zone hours
