About the role
Own the tutor pipeline end-to-endsourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks, onboarding & compliance, and database hygiene. You know what a great tutor looks like (AU education context), keep a healthy bench by subject/city, and move quickly. Occasional training/check-ins for tutors is a nice-to-have, but your core is hiring + readiness + matching support. This is a part-time role (1520 hrs/week) with scope to scale.
What you'll do
- Source quality talent at volume: LinkedIn Recruiter (HubSpot & Dripify, Boolean, projects, InMail), Indeed/Seek/FB groups/referrals.
- Screen & interview: structured rubrics + short work samples; run reference/WWCC checks.
- Onboard placement-ready within 72h
- Maintain the bench: up-to-date availability for tutors; ready tutors per high-demand subject/areas.
- Match support: have an excellent eye for which tutor will be best for which student
- Offboard well: collect feedback, update records, protect standards.
- Tighten ops: keep SOPs, saved replies/templates, and tracking sheets tidy; suggest improvements in software such as ClickUp/HubSpot/Teachworks.
- Report weekly metrics: bench health, time-to-shortlist, acceptance %, reply SLAs, compliance.

Must-have skills
- Tutor recruiting experience in a tutoring or education company (AU/UK/US).
- LinkedIn Recruiter power user (HubSpot & Dripify, Boolean strings, projects, InMail, pipelines).
- Structured interviewing & evidence-based hiring decisions.
- Strong communication skills; crisp written comms; detail-obsessed.
- Ops discipline (SLAs, shared inboxes, clean data).
- Tools: LinkedIn Recruiter & Indeed (required); Google Workspace; ClickUp/HubSpot, Dripify, Calendly, nice-to-have.

- AU curriculum familiarity (NSW/VIC; HSC/NAPLAN).
- Running tutor webinars/PD and/or doing coaching/check-ins.
Employment type: Part-time (contract), 1520 hrs/week, with path to full-time based on results.
Compensation: Please include your monthly rate (assuming 80hrs/ month).
