The Opportunity

We're looking for a people-oriented Tutor Recruiter to join our team on a contract basis. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct structured interviews with tutor candidates, evaluate their qualifications and teaching capabilities, and provide assessment feedback. This is an independent role offering flexibility and the potential to grow into a part-time or full-time position based on performance.

What You'll Do

Conduct one-on-one video interviews with tutor candidates

Assess candidates against our evaluation criteria

Record and document candidate responses and interview performance

Evaluate teaching knowledge, communication skills, and subject matter expertise

Provide clear feedback on candidate suitability for our tutor network

Work independently with minimal supervision

Maintain organised records of all interviews and evaluations

What We're Looking For

Strong interviewing and communication skills

Experience in the education sector (highly preferred)

Ability to evaluate teaching capability and subject knowledge

Attention to detail and organised approach to documentation

Reliability and ability to meet interview scheduling commitments

Experience with video interview platforms (e.g., Google Meet, Zoom)

Comfortable working independently and remotely

Flexible scheduling to accommodate changes
