Job Description:
- Truck Availability Management:
- Ensure a sufficient fleet of trucks is available to meet daily operational requirements.
- Monitor truck utilization rates and make adjustments to avoid delays or shortages.
- Coordinate with drivers, 3PL management team, and Mid Mile deployment team to optimize truck deployment.
2. Scheduling and Coordination:
- Develop and manage a scheduling system to allocate trucks for various tasks and routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and manage truck fleet resources effectively.
- Collaborate with other operational teams to accommodate changing demands or unexpected changes in schedules.
3. Fleet Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze fleet performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Report on key metrics, including truck availability, maintenance status, and performance efficiency.
- Recommend improvements or strategies to optimize fleet operations and reduce downtime.
4. Inventory and Equipment Management:
- Understands truck inventory of the partners, including monitoring the acquisition of new partners or replacement units.
5. Communication and Reporting:
- Act as the primary point of contact for truck-related issues within the operation.
- Provide regular reports and updates on truck availability, issues, and performance to senior management.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing fleet operations, scheduling, or truck supply roles is advantageous.
- Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management (at least 2-3 years, with team management experience)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize based on operational demand.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in transportation.
- Amenable to be assigned in Calamba, Laguna
