The Treasury Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the company's cash management, fund allocation, and banking transactions to ensure efficient financial operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership, and compliance with Philippine financial regulations.
This role reports directly to the Manager, Finance and Accounting.
Cash Flow Management
- Monitor all cash and/or check collections remitted by C&C Department which should reconcile on their Daily Cash and Check Remittance Report (DCCR).
- Monitor daily cash balances and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Oversee fund transfers, deposits, and withdrawals across multiple bank accounts.
- Forecast cash requirements and prepare cash flow reports
Banking & Financial Transactions
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Ensure timely processing of payments, collections, and loan settlements.
- Negotiate banking terms and fees to optimize financial resources
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to internal treasury policies and government regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treasury transactions.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company funds.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare treasury reports for management, including liquidity positions and investment performance.
- Furnish Accounting Reports needed for monthly bank reconciliation for debit and credit memos, and outstanding checks.
- Analyze financial data to support decision-making on fund utilization.
- Provide recommendations on improving treasury processes.
Team Leadership
- Supervise treasury staff and ensure efficient workflow.
- Provide training and guidance to team members.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
Interaction:
- Interacts with Credit and Collection Department for submitted cash and checks collections
- Advises employees on cash advances and reimbursements processing
Education and Experience:
- Graduate of any 4-year course preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, and other relevant course.
- With at least 5 years of related experience preferably in the field of consumer goods, manufacturing, and food industry, with experience in sourcing raw and packaging materials and other products and services
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Philippine financial regulations and banking practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
