Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.

We are looking for a highly analytical and process-driven Treasury Specialist to join our growing accounting shared services team. In this fully remote role, you will report to the Treasury Supervisor and act as the financial safeguard for a sophisticated, tech-driven real estate portfolio. You will take complete ownership of complex daily bank reconciliations, multi-tiered cash management workflows, and large-scale funding setups across diverse corporate accounts. Operating during US business hours within a fast-paced, growth-focused startup environment, this position is custom-built for an accounting professional who loves tracking capital movements with absolute precision and optimizing operational workflows.

Your Impact

  • Capital Flow Ownership: Manage and monitor the daily bank reconciliation process for assigned clients across multiple bank account types with complex regulatory restrictions. Maintain absolute data integrity across all cash summaries to ensure timely inclusions in corporate financial packages.
  • Banking Platform Navigation: Move seamlessly between top-tier global banking portals, utilizing platforms like J.P. Morgan Access and Wells Fargo Vantage to accurately execute account transfers, manage corporate wire templates, and perform manual data extractions.
  • Ledger Stewardship & Cash Entries: Formulate and post accurate journal entries capturing specific cash activities-including specialized rent sweeps, banking processing fees, client equity contributions, corporate distributions, and application fee movements within the centralized property management system.
  • Funding & Liquidity Coordination: Prepare monthly funding contribution requests mapped to strict client specifications. Monitor daily cash balances across assigned accounts, flagging immediate liquidity shortages or funding variances to leadership before they impact corporate obligations.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Accounts Payable by providing a proactive tracking log of unreconciled payments within 90 days of issuance. Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to track down non-sufficient funds (NSF) anomalies or disputed resident payments, and sync with Corporate Accounting on processing client refunds.
  • Tech Optimization & SOP Development: Act as a critical bridge to the Engineering desk-submitting software bug logs, troubleshooting platform reconciliation errors, and testing automated features. Identify system limitations and author comprehensive, scalable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to elevate team output.
  • Strategic Holdbacks & Cash Analytics: Create structured funding holdbacks to ensure future operational liabilities are securely backed by available capital. Conduct high-level ad hoc cash flow analysis, historical spend reviews, and future capital-need modeling.

What You Bring

  • The Experience:Proven core experience specializing in corporate cash management, liquidity tracking, or high-volume bank reconciliations. Prior background operating within the property management or real estate investment trust (REIT) industry is considered a major advantage.
  • Platform & Spreadsheet Fluency: Advanced operational command over Microsoft Excel and the Google Workspace ecosystem. Comfortable navigating enterprise-level property management software and advanced treasury management banking interfaces.
  • Analytical Mindset: A sharp, problem-solving mindset with a passion for transactional research, data validation, and identifying ledger pain points to help engineer scalable financial systems.
  • Adaptable & Detail-Driven: A natural ability to manage competing closing deadlines, pivot seamlessly between shifting financial priorities, and maintain an uncompromising eye for numerical detail.
  • Startup DNA: High comfort operating within a fast-paced, tech-forward, and growth-focused distributed team environment. You are a self-directed executor who thinks about the big picture impact of your role on the organization.
  • Communication & Relationship Building: Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal English communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively across shared services teams, external developers, and international client stakeholders.
  • The Credentials: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related commercial discipline is highly preferred, ideally backed by 4+ years of cumulative corporate accounting experience.
