Who Are We Looking For
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- At least 35 years of experience in Corporate Treasury Risk, Treasury Middle Office, Market Risk/ALM, or a bank or airline/corporate treasury environment.
- Strong understanding of FX products (spot, forwards; basic swaps knowledge), liquidity and funding risk, basic interest rate concepts, SBLCs/guarantees, and counterparty/bank exposure monitoring.
- Strong Excel skills with high attention to detail and analytical rigor.
- Strong documentation, controls, and risk mindset.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Treasury, Accounting, Audit, Risk, Compliance, and banking partners.

What's the Role About
The Treasury Risk Specialist supports the Corporate Treasury function by identifying, monitoring, and reporting treasury-related financial risks. This role focuses on foreign exchange, interest rate, liquidity, and counterparty/bank risks, ensuring that treasury activities are aligned with approved policies, governance standards, and the Company's risk appetite. The role works closely with Treasury, Accounting, Audit, and banking partners to strengthen risk controls, reporting, and decision-making.
Major Responsibilities
- Monitor daily and periodic foreign exchange exposures arising from revenues, fuel, lease payments, debt, and other foreign-currency obligations.
- Track interest rate and funding exposures related to loans, leases, and deposits, and identify emerging risk trends with early warning indicators.
- Support governance and controls over FX and interest rate hedging activities, including documentation, monitoring, post-deal validation, and coordination with Treasury Dealers and Accounting.
- Assist in liquidity risk monitoring, including cash coverage, funding maturity profiles, concentration risks, and preparation of liquidity dashboards and stress considerations.
- Monitor bank and counterparty exposures such as deposits, placements, SBLCs, and guarantees, including limit utilization tracking and credit reviews.
- Support bank accreditation and re-accreditation processes, KYC requirements, and coordination with banks and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly treasury risk reports, dashboards, and market commentaries for management and committee review.
- Maintain and update treasury risk policies, procedures, and control documentation, and support internal and external audit requirements.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for treasury risk processes within the Treasury Management System, supporting system enhancements, UATs, automation initiatives, and continuous process improvements.
