Job Summary
The Travel Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily travel coordination, reservations, ticketing, and client servicing activities to ensure smooth and efficient travel operations. The role focuses on team supervision, operational excellence, and maintaining strong relationships with airline and travel partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily travel operations including ticketing, reservations, and itinerary management
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of travel bookings and client requests
- Handle escalations, urgent travel concerns, and VIP travel arrangements
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and travel partners for booking requirements
- Monitor team productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency
- Assist in improving operational processes and workflow efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company and airline policies
- Support and guide operations staff in day-to-day concerns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field
- Experience in travel agency operations, reservations, and ticketing
- Knowledge of Amadeus, Sabre, or other booking systems
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Experience handling corporate or VIP accounts is an advantage
