Position Overview
Travel Nurse Recruiter
The client is seeking an experienced Travel Nurse Recruiter to join their growing healthcare staffing team. In this role, you will source, screen, and place travel nurses in assignments nationwide while building lasting candidate relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview qualified travel nurses nationwide.
- Submit candidates quickly and accurately to open assignments.
- Negotiate pay packages and assignment details with candidates.
- Maintain active communication and manage candidate pipelines.
- Coordinate with internal compliance and credentialing teams.
- Maintain candidate and submittal records using ATS/CRM systems.
- Achieve weekly and monthly recruiting KPIs.
Requirements
- 2+ years of travel nurse recruiting experience.
- Experience working within a healthcare staffing agency.
- Knowledge of travel nursing workflows, compliance, and credentialing.
- Hands-on experience with ATS and CRM platforms.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing candidate network of travel nurses.
- Experience recruiting for ICU, ER, OR, CVOR, Med Surg, L&D, and Allied specialties (such as Cath Lab Tech).
- Familiarity with VMS/MSP platforms.
- Proven experience with social media and outbound recruiting techniques.
