Job Description

Travel Demand Analytics Assistant Manager

Job Summary:

  • Ensures the upkeep and calibration of the CUBE Highway Model for traffic forecasting and project feasibility assessment, updated with the latest data and aligned with industry best practices and evolving transport and economic conditions
  • Analyzes traffic patterns and validates model outputs to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency
  • Supports infrastructure and mobility project evaluations across all business units

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the in-house CUBE traffic model used for the company's 5-year budget forecasts (updated yearly) and assessments of current/future expressways.
  • Assist in reviewing investment-grade traffic studies carried out by third-party consultants.
  • Assist in the preparation of project pre-feasibility studies for future pipeline projects and/or project evaluation, primarily on traffic demand forecasting.
  • Assist in the assessment of expressway investment proposals.
  • Assist in the assessment of various independent traffic studies.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Education (Major/Courses):

  • Graduate of any engineering or science course or its equivalent.

Work Experience (Overall employment, specific experience):

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in transport modeling, traffic forecasting, or travel demand analysis
  • Experience using CUBE or similar transport modeling software

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of travel demand modeling principles and traffic engineering concepts
  • Proficiency in CUBE, GIS tools, and data analysis (e.g., Excel, Python, or similar) is an advantage
  • Experience with traffic survey data processing and model calibration/validation
  • Understanding of toll road operations and infrastructure project evaluation is an advantage
