Your Role:
As a Travel and Expense Analyst, you will:
- Review travel and expense claims for accuracy and policy compliance.
- Process reimbursements within agreed service levels.
- Validate receipts, approvals, and coding to cost centers.
- Resolve employee inquiries on expense submissions and travel rules.
- Monitor exceptions and flag policy breaches.
- Prepare monthly expense reports and variance summaries.
- Support audits with documentation and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Payroll on payments.
- Maintain expense system data and user access.
- Recommend process improvements to reduce cycle time and errors.
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2-4 years experience in travel & expense or accounts payable
- Experience using corporate expense management platforms, ERP/accounting systems, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups) for analysis and reporting
- Strong knowledge of expense policies, reimbursement processes, and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to support audits with accurate documentation and reconciliations
- Demonstrates high attention to detail, strong communication skills, effective time management, and data-driven problem-solving
