Job Summary
The Travel Agency Operations Lead is responsible for managing travel bookings, operational coordination, and customer support to ensure seamless travel services for clients. The role also involves team leadership, client relationship management, and operational performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end travel booking and ticketing operations
- Oversee airline reservations, rebooking, and itinerary changes
- Lead operations staff in delivering excellent customer service
- Coordinate with airlines and travel suppliers for booking requirements
- Handle urgent travel requests and high-priority client concerns
- Ensure operational targets and service standards are achieved
- Prepare operational reports and monitor team performance
- Recommend process improvements for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Proven experience in travel agency operations and ticketing
- Familiarity with Amadeus, Sabre, or similar reservation systems
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent client management and coordination abilities
- Corporate travel experience is preferred
