Overall Purpose of The Job
The Travel Support will work with multiple teams within the business to ensure that there is complete alignment between departments and systems. This position is responsible for auditing and issuance of airline tickets along with assisting the operations department with administrative work where applicable.
Supporting the Administration & Operations departments reporting to the Global Director Operations and support with any Adhoc requirements.
Key Responsibilities And Tasks
- Supporting the Global Operations Director on a day-to-day basis.
- Support issues with all front & mid office systems.
- Ensure Travel Consultants adhere to correct booking procedures utilizing scripts & rules in place
- Auditing and issuance of airline tickets in accordance with airline rules and procedures set by GMT so as
- to reduce and/or eliminate any potential ADMs within the business .
- Ensure no lower class is available upon ticket issue
- To assist any clients (when applicable)
- Ensure airline information is maintained, updated and properly disseminated to all relevant levels of the
- organization.
- Ensure that all technicalities and regulations on tariff are followed.
- Work with accounting department to solve any errors, questions, debit memos etc.
- Back up to travel consultants tasks as required
- Acts on crisis management for untoward incidences pertaining to airline booking and reports this promptly and formally to his/her superior for any corrective actions required with client

- Proven working experience as a business travel consultant minimum 2/3 years
- Excellent knowledge of travel software (computer reservations systems, GDS systems and online booking tools)
- High level of customer service
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
- Experience of dealing with Multi nationalities
- Understanding of Corporate and Marine Travel
- Good knowledge of Microsoft products: Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
- Ability to train Face to Face and via Ms Teams
