The Transport Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the availability and efficient deployment of trucking resources to support daily operational requirements. This role oversees truck capacity planning by maintaining a reliable pool and pipeline of accredited truck partners, carriers, and transport contacts to ensure continuous service availability and business continuity. The position is also accountable for route and road planning, optimizing transport schedules, delivery efficiency, and resource utilization to minimize delays and operational costs while ensuring timely and effective movement of goods. Additionally, the Transport Supervisor coordinates closely with internal teams and transport providers to address operational issues, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvements in transportation efficiency and service reliability.
