Job Description
The Transportation and Dispatch Supervisor shall be responsible for the efficient scheduling and
coordination of daily deliveries
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare delivery schedules based on Sales Orders (SO) submitted by the Sales Department.
- Assign delivery trucks, drivers, and helpers in accordance with daily requirements.
- Prepare trip tickets and provide meal allowances for delivery personnel.
- Review and endorse overtime permits submitted by delivery staff to the MCD Manager for
approval.
- Summarize daily timekeeping records of extra workers for submission to HR & Admin for payroll
processing.
- Prepare a daily summary of outbound delivery schedules per truck, indicating customers and
destinations.
- Manage petty cash funds and oversee replenishment of the allocated amount.
- Submit weekly expense summaries for review.
- Review and recommend approval of leave applications filed by delivery personnel.
- Coordinate with external truckers to handle large volumes of outgoing deliveries.
- Ensure timely vehicle registration by scheduling renewals based on expiry dates.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the MCD Manager.
Qualifications
Education : College Graduate
Experience : At least Three (3) year experience as Transportation and Dispatch
Supervisor
Requirements/ Skills : Proficient in computer application (MS Office)
