Job Purpose
The Transport Excellence Supervisor is responsible for leading and optimizing the company's transportation operations to ensure safe, timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of products across the distribution network.
The role drives transportation excellence and continuous improvement through effective route and transport planning, utilization of the Transport Management System (TMS), fleet and 3PL management, KPI monitoring, process standardization, and cost optimization.
The position also leads and develops the Transport Team while collaborating closely with Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders to improve service levels, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall customer experience.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or distribution operations.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Hands-on experience with a Transport Management System (TMS) — required.
- Experience managing 3PL providers and fleet operations.
- Experience implementing transportation process improvements or digital transformation initiatives.
