Role Description

The Transmission Facility Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance of the Treated Water Pipeline (TWP) and other plant facilities. The role ensures that pipelines, valves, and mechanical equipment are properly maintained to achieve reliable operations, maximize asset life, and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in water treatment, water transmission networks, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Hands-on experience in maintaining large booster pumps, inline valves, pressure-reducing stations, and steel or concrete transmission pipelines.
• Experience in hydraulic systems troubleshooting, including flow rate analysis, pressure control, and water hammer mitigation.
• Experience with SCADA and telemetry systems for remote monitoring of facilities is an advantage.
• Knowledge of asset management systems and the ability to read GIS pipeline infrastructure maps is an advantage.
• Specialized training in fluid mechanics, hydraulics, or plant maintenance operations is an advantage.
