Your Role
As a
Transitions Program Manager, you will:
- End-to-End Transition Management: Ensure the seamless integration of all mobile services into the Optus ecosystem by managing internal workgroups across multiple sites and complex service levels.
- Project Execution & Planning: Independently plan and execute small-to-medium customer mobility migrations, ensuring all technical and logistical requirements are met.
- Team & Indirect Leadership: Lead and drive onshore/offshore teams and Mobile Transition leads, overseeing workload allocation, priority management, and overall delivery excellence.
- Vendor & Contract Oversight: Manage all vendor relationships involved in mobile provisioning and logistics, including performance monitoring, enforcing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and defining Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Stakeholder & SLT Engagement: Collaborate closely with Account and Sales teams across all segments; proactively drive stakeholders to meet deadlines and escalate risks to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) when necessary.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain high standards through rigorous progress tracking, quality checks, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strategic Communication: Act as the primary bridge between delivery teams and business segments to oversee, communicate, and drive the completion of customer transitions.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- 10+ years of experience in program or project leadership.
- Proven experience in vendor and contract management.
- Strong knowledge of the telecommunications industry.
- Experience with Lean methodologies.
- Outstanding customer service skills, always demonstrating being professional and confidence.
- Ability to provide status reporting on a daily and weekly view.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Certification in ITIL.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to undertake introduction meetings.
- Continuous process document reviews.
- Ability to communicate milestone achievement to the customer and to stakeholders.
- Budget Management & Forecasting EG. AOP.
