Job Description:

The Transformation Lead Report is responsible for creating a single, trusted reporting foundation across Xerox and Lexmark. The role exists to eliminate redundant, conflicting, and legacy reporting and to ensure that reporting outputs are governed, standardized, and clearly understood.

This role does not build reports and does not own FP&A or Finance commentary. It owns reporting standards, catalogues, and definition clarity. Success is measured by reduced reporting volume, improved trust in outputs, and faster time to insight.

The Transformation Lead Report partners closely with Reporting CoEs, FP&A, and Finance, while retaining clear ownership of reporting standardization and elimination decisions.

Key Activities:

  • Own and govern the global reporting catalogue, including report purpose, ownership, and status.
  • Define and enforce reporting standards, definitions, and hierarchies.
  • Drive elimination of redundant, low-value, or conflicting reports.
  • Align Xerox and Lexmark reporting views to enable a single group perspective.
  • Coordinate reporting issue triage and root-cause resolution.
  • Ensure retired reports are not recreated and standards are consistently applied.
  • Lead and prioritize the work of Report Transformation Analysts.

KPIs:

  • Reduction in total number of active reports.
  • Percentage of reports governed by the reporting catalogue.
  • Reduction in reporting discrepancies and reconciliation effort.
  • Reduction in ad-hoc reporting demand.
  • Improved time to insight for senior stakeholders.
  • Sustained adoption of standard reporting outputs.

Desired Skill Set and Experience:

  • Strong background in finance reporting and data environments.
  • Experience rationalizing and standardizing reporting at scale.
  • Ability to challenge entrenched reporting behaviors constructively.
  • Strong analytical and governance mindset.
  • Effective communicator with senior stakeholders.

Interaction with R2R Operations Teams:

  • Works with reporting and operational teams to retire and replace legacy outputs.
  • Ensures operational teams consume and rely on standard reports.
  • Does not manage reporting production teams or build dashboards.
