Job Description
The Expert - Business Analysis serves as the vital link between B2B business stakeholders and technical engineering teams. Operating within the B2B division, this role drives the end-to-end lifecycle of technical requirements—from refining user stories in Agile backlogs to leading rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Beyond traditional analysis, this position champions product quality and adoption by crafting clear data dictionaries, comprehensive user manuals, and detailed test scripts. Ideal candidates will leverage strong Agile project experience and AI-driven workflows to minimize production defects, accelerate delivery, and ensure technical solutions perfectly align with strategic business needs.
Duties And Responsibilities
Requirements & Backlog Management
- Requirements Refinement: Translate, clarify, and refine business requirements to ensure they are actionable and fully understood by technical delivery teams.
- User Stories Lodging: Lodge, manage, and prioritize user stories within the product backlog, ensuring clear acceptance criteria and alignment with overarching business goals.
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Test Script Creation: Create comprehensive test scenarios, scripts, and test data, ensuring alignment across all impacted stakeholders prior to testing execution.
- Functional Testing: Conduct thorough functional testing of newly developed features to validate that they perform exactly according to the documented business requirements.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Drive the UAT phase by maintaining organized and up-to-date documentation (test plans, test cases), generating detailed UAT test reports, and communicating outcomes and deployment recommendations to stakeholders.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Data Dictionary: Develop, manage, and maintain data dictionaries to establish a single source of truth for data structures, terminology, and system integrations.
- User Manual Creation: Create clear, simple, and step-by-step instructions and user manuals for using the product or service, tailored specifically to non-technical end-users.
- Project Documentation: Create, update, and manage necessary project documentation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure governance, compliance, and full traceability.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience acting as a Business Analyst, QA Tester, or in a similar technical delivery role.
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Proficiency in utilizing Agile project management and documentation platforms (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Demonstrated experience in creating detailed technical or functional documentation tailored for non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, IT / Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Preferred Certifications:
- Agile/Scrum: PSPO, CSM
- Business Analysis: ECBA, CBAP
- Software Testing: ISTQB
