Job Summary:
The Manager leads and supports financial due diligence engagements, overseeing end-to-end project execution while ensuring deliverables meet the firm's quality standards. This role involves preparing and reviewing transaction workbooks, managing document requests and data analysis, and drafting key sections of due diligence reports such as Quality of Earnings, financial summaries, and management discussion decks. The manager role actively contributes as a key member of the deal team, mentors junior staff, collaborates with onshore teams, and applies analytical and technology-driven approaches to deliver actionable insights. This position requires strong leadership, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to managing multiple engagements in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment. - Prepare and review transaction Databook/Workbook in accordance with the firm's professional standards and as per the requirements of the projects, with almost no rework and review comments.
- Active and consistent participation as a Deal team member with high proficiency including usage and training of junior team members.
- Prepare, update, and review initial/supplemental document request list and manage gathered data effectively.
- Ability to prepare industry-specific and other ad hoc analyses.
- Preparation of the proposal and scope of work as required by the engagement team(s).
- Prepare Management discussion decks.
- Participate and lead specific sections in management calls and take notes in management meetings.
What You Need To Have:
- CA or MBA qualification
- 710 years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services, preferably from a Big 4 or similar firm
- Strong experience in financial due diligence for both buy-side and sell-side transactions
- People management experience, including leading and guiding team members
- Hands-on deal experience working with onshore teams, including: Data room management, Preparing document request lists, Management meeting preparation, Financial analysis and workbooks, Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis, Due diligence reports, Client and internal team calls
- Solid understanding of financial statements, financial ratios, and UK GAAP and related accounting concepts
- Advanced skills in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, advanced formulas), as well as Word and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills, including financial, operational, benchmarking, and trend analysis
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on improving processes
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and take ownership to ensure timely delivery
- Preferred industry exposure in one or more of the following: Manufacturing, Distribution, Consumer products, Business services, Healthcare, Financial services, Technology.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and ability to build trust with clients and colleagues
- Strong work ethic and motivation, able to perform well in demanding situations
- Flexibility to adapt to different projects, work hours, and work environments or locations
