Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented IT Test Administrator to oversee and administer computer-based examinations for our affiliated testing partners, including Pearson VUE, Kryterion, and PSI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all examinations are conducted in strict accordance with partner policies, security requirements, operational procedures, and customer service standards.

This role requires strong administrative skills, technical confidence, integrity, attentiveness, and the ability to maintain a secure, orderly, and professional testing environment. The IT Test Administrator will assist candidates before, during, and after exams, verify compliance with testing procedures, monitor testing sessions, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the examination process.

Key Responsibilities

Test Administration and Proctoring

  • Administer computer-based examinations in accordance with the standards, rules, and procedures of affiliated testing partners such as Pearson VUE, Kryterion, and PSI.
  • Verify candidate identity and eligibility prior to examination in accordance with testing partner requirements.
  • Conduct candidate check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Explain examination rules, testing procedures, and test center policies clearly and professionally.
  • Monitor candidates throughout the examination to ensure compliance with security protocols and examination regulations.
  • Observe and document any irregularities, incidents, misconduct, or policy violations during the testing process.
  • Ensure that testing sessions begin and end properly and that all required procedures are completed.

Test Center Operations

  • Prepare, inspect, and maintain the testing room, workstations, and equipment prior to each examination session.
  • Ensure that all testing stations, peripherals, software, internet connectivity, and security tools are functioning properly before candidate use.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and professional testing environment.
  • Control access to the testing area and ensure only authorized persons enter restricted spaces.
  • Perform routine readiness checks on testing equipment, systems, and materials.
  • Assist in enforcing testing center regulations relating to prohibited items, personal belongings, and candidate conduct.

Technical Support

  • Provide basic technical support during testing sessions, including workstation checks, login assistance, printer checks, camera or microphone setup where applicable, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Escalate technical issues promptly in accordance with partner procedures and internal escalation protocols.
  • Coordinate with partner support teams when necessary to resolve technical or operational concerns.
  • Ensure that technical disruptions are properly documented and handled in accordance with examination partner requirements.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of candidate attendance, test schedules, incident reports, logs, and related administrative documentation.
  • Complete required reports for exam delivery, irregularities, technical issues, and compliance matters.
  • Ensure adherence to confidentiality, data privacy, information security, and test center compliance requirements.
  • Follow all applicable partner guidelines, audit requirements, and company policies.
  • Support internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance reviews related to test center operations.

Customer Service and Coordination

  • Provide courteous, professional, and timely assistance to examination candidates.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries regarding test center procedures and scheduling within the limits of permitted guidance.
  • Coordinate with internal staff and affiliated partners regarding schedules, test sessions, candidate concerns, and operational matters.
  • Help ensure a positive and professional testing experience while maintaining strict compliance with security requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in test administration, proctoring, customer service, office administration, or IT support is an advantage.
  • Experience working in a testing center or certification exam environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer-based testing systems and basic troubleshooting is an advantage.

Reporting Line

  • Reports directly to the President or to such officer, manager, or supervisor as may be designated by the Company.
