This is the bridge role between the curriculum and the learners. Their goal is to maintain high-quality feedback and a vibrant community.
Core Skills
- AI-Assisted Grading: Ability to use AI to analyze learner work against a rubric
while maintaining human oversight.
- Empathetic Communication: A warm writing style that makes learners feel
heard and supported.
- Critical Thinking: Spotting when AI feedback is too generic, robotic, or
technically incorrect.
- Conflict Resolution: De-escalating frustrated learners in community threads or
comments.
- Rubric Mastery: Quickly internalizing your grading standards to ensure
consistency.
Primary Tasks
- Rubric Development: Collaborating on the creation of grading rubrics for
AI-based exercises (and others in the future); using AI to draft scoring criteria for
technical skills (like prompt engineering or output analysis) and refining them to
ensure they are objective, fair, and easy for learners to follow.
- Reviewing Assessments: Running learner submissions through AI tools and
refining the output into helpful, personalized feedback.
- Community Management: Monitoring discussion boards to answer questions
and keep conversations on track.
- Sentiment Tracking: Flagging common learner sticking points to you so you
can improve future lessons.
- Encouragement: Proactively liking and commenting on learner wins in the
community to drive course completion rates.
