Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for planning, developing, delivering, and
maintaining recruiting strategies and hiring process improvements that support
workforce planning and operational excellence. This role partners with hiring managers,
business leaders, operations, and subject matter experts to identify staffing needs,
assess recruiting performance gaps, monitor hiring standards, and implement
continuous improvement initiatives.
The Talent Acquisition Lead also provides coaching, feedback, and reporting to help
ensure recruiting activities meet established service, compliance, and performance
expectations across the end-to-end full recruiting cycle, including sourcing, screening,
interviewing, selection, offer management, and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Training
Develop, update, and maintain training materials, guides, job aids, and process
documentation for Talent Acquisition.
Deliver onboarding, refresher, and process training for recruiters and recruiting
support teams.
Provide training on the full recruiting cycle, including requisition intake, sourcing,
screening, interviewing, offer management, background checks, and onboarding
coordination.
Assess training needs based on recruiter performance, process changes, hiring
goals, and business priorities.
Partner with Talent Acquisition leaders and hiring managers to support recruiter
development and knowledge transfer.
Manage new hire training programs, including scheduling, coordination, delivery,
tracking completion, and ensuring new employees are prepared to successfully
transition into their roles.
Monitor training completion and evaluate learning effectiveness.
Support implementation of new recruiting tools, systems, policies, and workflows.
Quality Assurance
Review recruiter activities, candidate interactions, and recruitment transactions
for accuracy, compliance, timeliness, and service quality.
Evaluate adherence to recruiting process standards, applicant tracking system
requirements, and employment compliance expectations.
Provide constructive feedback and coaching to recruiters and TA leadership.
Identify trends, root causes, and recurring issues impacting recruiting quality,
speed, or candidate experience.
Recommend and support process improvements to enhance efficiency,
compliance, and hiring outcomes.
Leadership & Collaboration
Serve as an expert in Talent Acquisition training, quality, and recruiting process
excellence.
Collaborate with recruiters, TA leadership, and business stakeholders to improve
recruiting effectiveness.
Support change management efforts related to recruiting process updates,
system changes, and policy revisions.
Lead or contribute to special projects related to talent acquisition operations,
quality standards, and recruiting best practices.
Help promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and candidate-
focused service.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in recruitment or training (ideally both).
Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, sourcing tools, and ATS platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in corporate, agency, or RPO.
Familiarity with instructional design models.
Certification in HR or training (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CPTD).
