The ideal candidate will combine exceptional knowledge of BFSI operations with a proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training and quality frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior executives, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with organizational goals, compliance, and customer experience standards.
  • Training Program Development: Oversee the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive training curriculums tailored to BFSI processes, regulatory requirements, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency. Evaluate competency gaps and ensure the creation of role-specific learning journeys.
  • Quality Assurance Framework: Establish and refine quality assurance programs, including process audits, call monitoring, transaction reviews, and root cause analyses. Implement metrics and dashboards to provide actionable insights for continuous process improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all training and quality programs rigorously adhere to domestic and international regulatory standards, including but not limited to AML, KYC, GDPR, PCI DSS, and other relevant frameworks governing BFSI operations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and develop high-performing teams of trainers, quality analysts, and subject matter experts. Foster a culture of learning, growth, and accountability, ensuring ongoing professional development and knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong partnerships with operations, technology, risk, legal, and compliance teams to drive end-to-end quality and training initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external partners.
  • Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for both training outcomes and quality assurance. Monitor, analyze, and report on progress, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to the implementation of new training programs, quality initiatives, or regulatory updates. Communicate effectively across the organization to ensure buy-in and successful adoption.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, quality monitoring tools, and data analytics to enhance training delivery, track effectiveness, and automate reporting where feasible.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify process vulnerabilities through quality assessments and proactively implement corrective actions to minimize operational risks and ensure customer trust.
  • Innovation in Learning: Continuously scan the environment for emerging trends in learning and quality assurance within BFSI. Pilot and deploy new methodologies, such as microlearning, gamification, and experiential learning, to enhance engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources toward impactful training and quality interventions.
