Trainee - Web Developer
Philippines / OJT (240 hours minimum)
Summary
As a Trainee Web Developer, you will have the unique opportunity to combine your academic pursuits with real-world web development experience. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our experienced web development team to gain insights into industry-standard practices and methodologies.
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and debugging of web applications under the guidance of senior developers.
- Work on front-end development tasks, including creating and updating website content, implementing UI/UX designs, and optimizing user experiences.
- Learn and apply back-end technologies, such as databases, server-side scripting, and API integrations, to enhance web application functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues to ensure seamless website performance.
- Engage in code reviews and constructive feedback sessions to enhance your coding skills.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in web development to contribute fresh ideas and insights to the team.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field.
- Passionate about web development, as demonstrated through coursework, personal projects, or extracurricular activities.
- Basic understanding of web technologies, such as WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is preferred.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby will be advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and grow as a web developer.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to tasks and projects.
- PHP 1,500.00/monthly allowance.
- Work from Home setup. (You need to have your own computer and good internet connection.)
