About the Role

UCM Global is hiring a sharp, organised and ambitious Trainee Executive & Operations Assistant to work closely with the CEO and support operational priorities across a growing group of businesses.

This role is designed for an academically strong graduate or early-career professional with excellent communication, attention to detail and the potential to develop into a trusted executive and operations support professional.

You do not need extensive Executive Assistant experience. We are more interested in your ability to learn quickly, think clearly, take ownership and follow work through properly.

You will initially work directly on operational projects and frontline tasks. You will not only track actions or coordinate other people—you will also personally complete practical work needed to move projects forward.

As you demonstrate reliability, judgement and capability, you will gradually gain broader exposure across the businesses and take on increased responsibility supporting the CEO, teams and business operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Working hands-on across business projects and operational workstreams

• Supporting systems, screening and process-migration projects

• Completing research, data checks, system updates and document preparation

• Helping test, document and improve internal processes

• Maintaining project trackers, deadlines and action plans

• Following up with team members and resolving outstanding actions

• Preparing meeting notes, summaries and CEO updates

• Organising reports, documents and business information

• Identifying missing information, delays and potential blockers

• Supporting recruitment, HR, operations, content and new initiatives where required

• Assisting with scheduling, planning and executive administration

• Gradually taking ownership of wider executive and operational responsibilities

• Wants to learn by completing practical work, not only observing or coordinating

• Is prepared to be frontline and hands-on, particularly during the early stages

• Communicates clearly and professionally

• Is highly organised and attentive to detail

• Takes responsibility without needing constant reminders

• Can work independently while keeping others informed

• Responds positively to direct and constructive feedback

• Is adaptable and comfortable working across different business areas

• Wants a long-term career with increasing responsibility

What We're Looking For

• A completed bachelor's degree

• Graduated with latin honors, or with an equivalent academic distinction, strongly preferred

• Degree in Business, Management, Operations, Psychology, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Communications or another relevant discipline

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Strong organisation, research and problem-solving skills

• Clear and structured thinking

• Strong accountability and follow-through

• Ability to manage several priorities and deadlines

• Confidence using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace or similar tools

• Ability to learn new systems quickly

• Professionalism when handling confidential information

• Full availability to work UK working hours

• A reliable remote-working setup

Helpful Experience

• Internships or graduate programmes

• Student leadership or university organisations

• Project, event or programme coordination

• Research or thesis leadership

• Business, administrative or operational support

• Recruitment, HR or people operations

• Volunteer leadership or entrepreneurship

• Structured training and gradual development

• Experience across recruitment, education, content, operations and new ventures

• Increasing responsibility based on performance

• Regular feedback and professional development

• Long-term career progression

• Remote working within an international team

• Company-sponsored team socials and meetups

For the right person, this role can develop into Executive & Operations Assistant, Executive Assistant / Founder Support, Senior Executive Assistant, Business Manager or Chief of Staff Support.
