Join our Global Trade Support Services team and directly influence the success of our Equities & Equities Derivatives businesses by supporting critical trading and settlement front-to-back applications.

What role will you play

Working directly with both Front Office and Settlements systems, as well as front, middle, and back office business users and their aligned support teams, you will provide application support for front-to-back systems across equities and equity derivatives products. You will be responsible for delivering operational technical support across Macquarie's global trading and settlement platforms, and ensuring the successful delivery of key technology projects and initiatives.

Your broad technical expertise and ability to translate complex technology concepts for business stakeholders will help drive timely and effective business outcomes. You will further develop your skills in proactive problem identification and solution implementation, and are expected to manage issues through to resolution.

You will respond to inquiries and escalations, establish close working relationships with stakeholders, and coordinate a range of projects in a highly operational and regulated environment.

What You Offer

  • 4+ years of experience in trade execution and/or post-trade settlement support roles.
  • Proven experience with a mix of vendor and in-house trading systems and settlement platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and SQL, across both physical and cloud environments.
  • Experience in back office operations, including the use of log monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to execution platforms such as FIX protocol and electronic execution platforms.
  • Experience with monitoring tools, preferably Splunk.
