Job Requirements:
- Preferable, but not limited to, industry experience is within petroleum, automotive retail, convenience retailing, or FMCG industries.
- Bachelor's degree in any related field
Primary Function:
While the manager develops the strategy, and the coordinator devises the tactics, the associates are responsible for executing these plans to the grassroots level to achieve the vision set by the company for Retail Division. Associates are also responsible for assessing the retail landscape and providing feedback to the coordinator and manager to ensure that plans can be effectively implemented. Associates work closely with SSG, Cards, NFB and Treats to support and help achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Propose promotional activities, implement activations, and design merchandising items directed to specific products to be highlighted to boost volume, margins and brand awareness.
- Evaluates proposals from Trade and recommend appropriate promos, activations, trade assets and merchandising materials to be utilized.
- Works with the sales team in his area during the conceptualization of special events/programs/activities for each year aligned with Marketing Division initiatives.
- Clearly communicates, cascades, and monitors the implementation of merchandising activities and special events to all outlets in his assigned area.
- Ensures that company special events and projects are effectively implemented within the working budget and prescribed time.
- Oversee the effective implementation of product penetration based on established product guidelines in targeted outlets in his assigned area.
- Address and propose corrective action/s in the implementation of marketing programs and activities by the Sales team.
- Periodically monitors consistency in the compliance to promotional, activations and merchandising guidelines.
- Effectively plans and prioritizes the deployment of allocated merchandising, promotional materials and trade assets in his assigned area.
- Monitor's company trade assets as well as prompt service for unit repairs and other asset movement concerns.
- Ensures the accomplishment and submission of closure reports per activity.
- Identifies indicators of activities in his assigned area and develop/recommend competitive strategies and cost-effective approaches to manage competition.
- Participates in the yearly business planning affecting his operations such as merchandising materials or collaterals and trade assets needed in his assigned area.
