Job Description

  • Design and implement trade marketing strategies to support sales objectives in general trade.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives.
  • Analyse market trends and customer insights to optimise marketing activities.
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively for trade marketing activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade partners.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on marketing strategies and tools.
  • Ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with brand objectives and guidelines.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Trade Marketing Manager for General Trade should have:

  • Proven experience in trade marketing within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong skills in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Experience in analysing market trends and customer insights.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and trade partners.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and resources for marketing activities.
  • Familiarity with the general trade channel in the FMCG industry.
