Job Description

Role Overview

The Head of Total Rewards will lead the company's overall rewards strategy, covering compensation, benefits, incentives, and recognition programs. The role ensures that the organization's rewards framework remains competitive, internally equitable, cost-effective, and aligned with business and talent objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Total Rewards Strategy

  • Develop and implement the company's total rewards strategy aligned with business and people priorities.
  • Review and enhance compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
  • Establish policies, frameworks, and guidelines for compensation, benefits, incentives, and rewards.

Compensation & Salary Management

  • Lead annual salary review, merit increase, and promotion processes.
  • Manage salary structures, job leveling, pay ranges, and compensation guidelines.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to support pay decisions.
  • Ensure appropriate governance of executive, managerial, and employee compensation.

Benefits & Incentives

  • Oversee employee benefits programs, including HMO, insurance, retirement, allowances, and other employee benefits.
  • Review and design short- and long-term incentive programs in partnership with business and HR leaders.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and cost of existing rewards programs and recommend improvements.

Analytics & Governance

  • Develop total rewards dashboards, reports, and analytics to support management decisions.
  • Monitor compensation costs, workforce trends, and external market movements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor regulations and internal policies.
  • Establish controls and governance processes for compensation and benefits administration.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders on rewards-related matters.
  • Provide senior management with recommendations on compensation strategy, organizational costs, and talent-related decisions.
  • Lead and develop the Total Rewards team, building strong technical and analytical capabilities.
  • Manage external consultants, compensation surveys, benefits providers, and other rewards partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, and/or total rewards, with significant leadership experience.
  • Strong experience in compensation strategy, salary structures, market benchmarking, and incentive design.
  • Experience managing employee benefits and rewards programs across a sizeable organization.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to translate data into practical business recommendations.
  • Good understanding of Philippine labor regulations and compensation practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with HRIS, compensation systems, and rewards analytics is an advantage.
