Role OverviewWe are looking for a Tosca TestSuite Automation Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to support enterprise-level automation initiatives. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated testing solutions across web, desktop, API, and backend systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop automated test cases using Tosca (Tosca Commander)
- Create and maintain modular, reusable, and scalable test scripts
- Manage test data using Tosca Test Data Management (TDM) and external data sources
- Execute automated test suites for UI, API, database, and end-to-end scenarios
- Set up and maintain Distributed Execution (DEX) environments (Tosca Server, DEX Agents)
- Integrate Tosca automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous testing (regression, API, security)
- Debug failed executions and implement recovery and optimization strategies
- Link automation assets with test management tools like qTest
- Contribute to automation strategy, framework improvements, and best practices
Qualifications- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Tosca
- Strong experience in:
- UI automation (web & desktop applications)
- API testing (JSON, XML, SOAP)
- Database validation (SQL)
- Experience with:
- Test data management (TDM)
- Distributed Execution (DEX)
- CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab)
- Familiarity with:
- Agile/Scrum environments
- Test management tools (qTest, JIRA)
- Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript or similar) is a plus
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Have- Experience with enterprise applications (SAP, Salesforce)
- Exposure to non-UI automation (API, database, file systems)
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members
